Our Story

One year ago I moved to San Antonio from Fortaleza Brasil, the city that had been my home for over 25 years. I have fallen in love with the city of San Antonio and its fun-loving people and I want nothing more than to do my part in making it an even better and sweeter city.

I started to search for some tasty, homemade chocolates similar to a very popular treat back home. I didn't find any at all! So I decided to make my own. I gave some chocolates as a gift to neighbors and friends at church and they simply loved it and offered to pay me to make them more. So I did!

Because this city has become a fortress of local, foodie and festive entrepreneurial efforts I decided to make this a small business and bring a little something from my home to the great people of San Antonio.

I hope you'll try, love and keep coming back for more of our chocolate truffles!

With love, Babi

I graduated from Abilene Christian University in May 2013 with a Bachelor's in Business Management. In August I began pursuing an education in the Culinary Arts field at The Culinary Institute of America, right here in the city of San Antonio.

After much insisting by my mother I took one of her chocolate truffles to the Patissier cheff at school and asked for his critique. To my surprise, he loved it and gave us a few pointers on ways to make it even more perfect. He'd been to Brasil before and was instantly reminded of the traditional treat. Ever since then I've been helping my mom with her truffles.

I guess you could say I'm the business mind behind every package of her delicious truffles and she's the artist without which there would be no business.

I hope you order some our truffles so i can have some numbers to input in our spreadsheet and be able to make some fun sales charts. :)

Send us your feedack! We want to provide the city of San Antonio the best chocolate truffles ever!

Help us keep San Antonio sweet!

Rebeca
